How it works
Order Camp Codebreak
A boxed set of mystery materials is shipped to you, including some helpful resources to get started.
When you are ready to go camping, bring the Camp Codebreak box set, as well as your own park pass and gear.
Start at the trailhead
Head out from the indicated starting location. There are reservable campsites nearby for those who want to be near facilities.
There are no time limits—camp and puzzle as long as you would like.
Solve the mystery
Dive into the game while you camp, visit areas of interest, and discover clues in the forest to solve the mystery and save the day.
Remember, pack it in, pack it out! Take all your Camp Codebreak materials with you when you leave. The game is yours to keep.
The mystery
You are a seasoned wilderness ranger stationed on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. A lifelong local, you have dismissed countless Sasquatch rumors—until headquarters calls late one night with an urgent search-and-rescue mission: A scouting troop has vanished from their campsite. Even more troubling are the enormous footprints leading away from camp.
Did the scouts encounter—or were they taken by—something long rumored to roam the forest?
